I Have Some Reading to Do

Today was PRIDE class #1 at Homes with Hope. It was fantastic, both for the content (answering a lot of questions) and for the people I met (two other single moms!). Our group of five really bonded, especially over lunch at the corner deli. My faith is definitely renewed and I feel empowered that I can do this. Now I just need to get to my reading...

We also talked a lot about this book, and we're fortunate enough to get our own copy!

It's January 11, 2010 and my goal is to blog all year of the significant (and mundane) things that God does in my life. I have great aspirations and hopes for what this year will bring, and I want to remember it all.
