I Love Fabric, especially on the Clearance Rack

I wound up at Hobby Lobby today, perhaps the greatest craft store of all time. I wanted to spend the rest of my Christmas gift card, looking for fabric and a pattern for my spare bedroom. I really wanted something gender-neutral, which is hard to find once you actively seek it out. What I found is this:

I bought the rest of the bolt, about 4.5 yards. There is also a coordinate print that I am considering buying as well:

While there I picked up some clearance rack finds:

Justin and Kylie will be getting new pillows, as for the other, I will have to figure out what I can make with my 1 yard...

Vintage Thread

I acquired a small, but fabulous, collection of vintage sewing thread. Most of the spools are wooden, dating from the 1960's and 1970's. One possibly from the 1950's. As a sewer only familiar with plastic spools, I do love the novelty of them, even the one made of Styrofoam. I definitely want to display them, rather than use them, so I found a great jar at the Container Store to display them. It's only half full, so I guess I need to hunt for more to fill it up.
It has some great greens

And great prices
